Children’s Mental Health Week: 5 – 11 February 2024 “My Voice Matters.”

As we approach Children’s Mental Health Week, 5 – 11 February 2024, we are pleased to share that this year’s theme is “My Voice Matters.” This theme highlights the importance of fostering an environment where children and young people feel heard,
empowered, and capable of making positive changes for themselves and others.

The impact of allowing children and young people to express themselves cannot be overstated. Feeling heard significantly boosts their self-esteem, that can lead to positive changes in their lives and the lives of those around them. By acknowledging their rights, views, and opinions, we empower them to become advocates for their own wellbeing.

We are excited to extend an invitation to professionals and the general public to participate in a special event at Fosse Park, 8 – 9 February 2024, 9.30am to 5pm.
